happy new years eve

Happy New Years!  It was quite a fun filled evening at Dalton's house last night!  We invited Grandma Beverly over for dinner and fun since Pa had to work late he didn't get to join us:(  Grandma played with Dalton while mommy cooked up a yummy mexican dinner for four which is one of mommy's favorite foods!  And we watched Toy Story 2 one of Dalton's favorite DVD's and we like it too!  Of course he doesn't sit still long enough to watch it as Grandma found out...he would be sitting next to her one minute telling her all about Bullseye and Jessie and the next minute he is off and doing something else...that's our little guy!

Dalton and Grandma shooting up the place!  Dalton got a shotgun from his Uncle Todd for Christmas and he likes it very much and he was kind enough to share his old gun with her...she is quite a trooper and plays along with his crazy ideas...MOST of the time!

A couple of weeks ago Grandma found a couple of costumes marked down really cheap and picked them up for dress up clothes for Dalton.  I hadn't given them to him yet but figured tonight was as good as a time as any...so I present to you our little pirate!  HE LOVED LOVED LOVED IT...and for whatever reason brought him to some new level of wound up!  He was running back and forth and back and forth...wanting me to take a picture of him but not stopping long enough for me to get one!  So the below pictures are what we ended up with!

Catch me if you can...arhh!

After we got Dalton settled down enough we rang in the New Year at 7pm with our cupcakes that Dalton and mommy made the day before and some "bubbly" non-alcoholic white grape juice!  That way Grandma could get back home before the roads iced up again and maybe just maybe Dalton would go to bed at a decent hour...which is wishful thinking about Dalton these days!

Grandma and Dalton toasting the new year!

Dalton kept saying "it's so bubbly"!  He really liked it...he doesn't drink carbonated beverages so this was a new experience for him...the bubbly!
