playdate fun

Today we joined Katie and her two kidos...Maddy and Luke as well as a new mommy and her two kidos...Ava and Greta at the mall for a play date!  It has finally started getting cold here so it was nice to let Dalton get out and run around without being cold...without mommy being cold that is...he could care less!  We played a little, ate a little, played a little more and if you can believe it...we actually saw Santa...he has already been at the mall for a week!  We were able to go in and say hello, tell him what Dalton wanted for Christmas and get a specail coloring book...Dalton was pretty excited and waved at him and actually walked up with me and talked to Santa!  He told him he wanted a crane...we spotted this new item on his wish list at BabiesRUS yesterday!  It is a CAT machine...remote control operated crane...Santa said if he was good for mommy and daddy he would see what he could do! 

Some of you may be wondering why we were at BabiesRUS...not because there are any babies in our house that's for sure!  We (mommy, daddy and Dalton) have decided it is time for the "BIG BOY" bed and we were searching for a rail to go on the bed!  Wish us luck on our new adventure...however we will have to figure out how to break down the baby bed before we can put his twin bed in his room!  I am sure there will be more on this story to come...what's next...potty training?!?!?  Probably not for awhile...NO INTEREST AT ALL!  Lots of talking about going potty but no interest in using any potty BIG or small!
