Last Thursday Dalton had his first open house at his MDO program! So he took mommy and daddy on a tour of his school...so exciting! His teachers said that he plays with most of the boys and a few of the girls and that he is their "weatherman"! They say he will stand at the window and let them know if the weather is nice enough to go outside and play...that cracks me up! They say he will say "it's not raining so we can go outside today"! Not to surprising since outside was one of his first words! They also told us that he has been putting sand in his pockets and making quite a mess when they go to change his diapers...it all falls out! OOPPS! That is weird because he has had a sand box for over a year at home and he has never done that...we will work on that one! He showed us the kitchen area, did some coloring on the art easel and showed us his artwork that was hanging in the hall and from the ceiling. He is still crying most of the time when I leave but only for a few minutes and that doesn't make my heart ache as much! And he is sooo funny because this past Wednesday he said he needed to go to school becuase his teachers were missing him! Wednesday is not a school day for him so isn't it just fitting that he would want to go on Wednesday and then on Thursday the day he is supposed to go he wakes up saying "I stay home with you today!"
Those toddlers they keep us guessing:) And of course no pictures to post:(

Sorry, I think it's funny about the sand in the pockets! Too cute. Carter is a little weatherman too. Wish we could see them together on it. Have you taken him to the weather part in the Omniplex where you stand in front of the green screen and it looks like he's doing the weather? The other night in our hotel room, I brought a bellhop cart in to use the next morning, and Carter was standing on it using it as a stage to do the weather.
