Last Friday I took Dalton to one of the great parks here in town and my mom came along with us! It's always nice to have a second adult at the park...or any outing with a two year old:) We had been talking about feeding the ducks for A LONG time mainly because they are constantly flying over our house and never stopping to eat. And last summer we fed the ducks at the park and apparently it was a good time and Dalton had not forgot! This day was particularly FANTASTIC because the ducks were very hungry and there were a TON of fish that were practically jumping out of the water to get at the bread...Dalton thought that was pretty funny! And there were a bunch of fairly large turtles in and around the pond too! Not to mention the squirrels that we spotted and a VERY FAST and LUCKILY VERY SMALL lizard my mom spotted! Thanks Grandma:)
Dalton is still not to sure about all of the big play equipment but he's getting better! He's quite cautious like his mommy and likes to observe for awhile before he tries something new! And he has also started packing his own back pack full of extras for the park like a sand shovel, tractors, balls, dump truck, etc. You just never know when you will find a great place to dig...just like the pictures below! And we ended the morning with lunch at my mom's house in the back yard and a little more outdoor time there! After almost 2 weeks of rain it was nice to have a sunny day to play:)
Something has caught his attention other than his tractor!
Very busy loading up all those wood chips!
