This year Grandma and Pa treated Dalton, mommy and daddy to A Day Out With Thomas! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Dalton wasn't so sure he wanted to ride on the train or not...he kept saying he just wanted to watch and maybe next time he would ride! There were plenty of other activites other than riding the train to keep him busy so we did those first!
Up and down and up and down the slide he went!
Thomas wooden train table fun with daddy and Dalton!
Thomas Lego train table...they had 4 or 5 train tables and they were packed with very excited little boys who did pretty well with help from their parents in sharing the trains!
Dalton's first tatoo...he loved it and kept asking what was happening to it as it wore off!
He picked out James for his first tatoo!
Grandma, Pa and Dalton by the old rusty train...SAY CHEESE!
The silly clown lady who made fantastic balloon creations...that was as close as Dalton was getting to her! He went to get his orange puppy dog that she made for him!
Dalton spots John Deere...it was churning home made ice cream! Daddy and Dalton had to check it out...the John Deere equipment not the ice cream!
John Deere puts a smile on my little guy and my big guys face!
Here comes Thomas...choo choo into the train station!
Grandma having good luck talking Dalton into getting on the train...mommy was having ZERO luck! And last minute he backed out...so mommy, grandma and pa went ahead and boarded then it was time for daddy to work his magic and whatever he did worked because Dalton came on board for his first official train ride! Thank goodness for grandma and daddy today!
Enjoying the view from grandma's lap...it wasn't the most scenic of train rides but we made the most of it!
Group picture taken by a very nice event volunteer!
We did get mommy, daddy and Dalton's picture taken in front of Thomas but something happend with the picture company's memory card and they weren't being able to pull up the photos...we were offered a free pass to the front of the line for a retake...but no time for that! Dalton was already in gift shop mode...he picked out a train named Kevin (it's pretty cool it has a crane with a magnetic attachment to pick up crates)! We ended the day with lunch at the County Line BBQ and hopefully a nice afternoon nap for all of us!

Fun Day!!! Glad Dalton decided to get on the train :) Do you guys have a train table? If so, any recommendations on them? I think Santa may bring one for both boys to share.
ReplyDeleteI think Carter had his first tatoo when we went to Thomas when he was about 19 months old. He wanted his on his shins and had one on each shin when he went to MDO.
