BUSY DAY!

Yesterday was quite a busy day for everyone! Daddy had to work late and Mommy and Dalton were just taking every opportunity to keep moving since Dalton decided not to take a nap that afternoon! The day started out with a road trip with my friend Katie and her two kids (Maddie & Luke) to see our mutual friend Christina who just recently had a baby boy named Tripp! And after lunch we watched my sister's youngest daughter. We love to have her over to play! In fact, we love it so much that someone decided that taking a nap was out of the question...the pictures below are what we did instead! You can't see the ball in this picture but Dalton thinks that they are kicking the ball back and forth but I think that his cousin is playing keep the ball from Dalton...hee hee! She has been the youngest for a long time and has her fair share of getting the short end of the stick so it was funny to see her take advantage of being the oldest and fastest...even if it was at my son's expense!
You can tell by the look on both of their faces that they are having a fantastic time...much more fun than a nap!

Dalton finally gets the ball...and as you can see by his big grin he has finally figured out what to do when someone tells him to say CHEESE!

Dalton is very serious about his steering and his poor cousin is just trying not to get blown away on a very windy afternoon!

Dalton still loves to use his mower...usually it's on the sidewalks but today I caught him on the lawn...the dead grass is easier to push on then the green grass! However, Daddy's lawnmower is still his favorite and we check it out first thing when we head to the garage!
Later that afternoon we took my niece back to her house and got to meet their new house cat...kitten! After that we played outside some more with both cousins and then later went out to eat with them...GOOD TIMES!

  1. He looks so big in the pic where he's holding the ball and "Cheesing!"
Glad Dalton is getting the chance to use his own toys without Carter trying to "help" him with them.
