I think I am going to do my best to make a list of 25 things about my 2-year old! Kind of like the list going around face book right now...so here goes my 25 random things about my toddler:) - When he goes to bed at night he wants his Daddy and if he wakes in the middle of the night he only wants Daddy.
- When he wakes in the morning he asks for Mommy.
- He used to love breakfast and be starving when he got up...now he is way to busy for breakfast and I am lucky if he eats much at all. But when he does he LOVES scrambled eggs with cheese and ham, cheerios with milk and pancakes with syrup...he always says they're sticky!
- He's not really one to let me brush his teeth..."Dalton do it" is what he says! So that is always interesting.
- He is not interested in the potty...he went through a short phase of sitting on the Elmo potty but I can't remember the last time he even talked about it...that's fine with me.
- Ever since Dalton was about 6 months old he has been a VERY predictable sleeper...well over the past 2 months he sometimes takes a nap in the afternoon and sometimes he doesn't. Mommy is not ready for Dalton to give up his naps:(
- He is starting to put more and more words together.
- He knows his primary colors and some others...pink, purple.
- He can count to 10...that doesn't mean that he will.
- Every once in awhile he will call his mommy and daddy by their actual names...it is funny to hear him say our names for some reason.
- He still likes Sesame Street...but he also likes DVD's about monster trucks, john deere tractors, tanks. He will ask to watch the movies CARS and Toy Story...he likes Woody!
- He is a pretty picky eater but for lunch, snacks or dinner you can count on him eating pizza, lunch meat and cheese, vanilla pudding with bananas, mandarin oranges, gold fish crackers, chicken noodle soup, chicken nuggets and of course french fries with lots of ketchup! He likes his Harvest Surprise grape Juicy Juice...the kind with fruit and vegetables...thank goodness since we have just finally found a vegetable that he will eat...steamed broccoli.
- He loves to be outside and asks to go outside every day no matter how hot or cold it is outside...and we try to go unless it's below freezing even if it's just for a little bit.
- He doesn't like to swing anymore but he can climb up the ladder to his slide and go down all by himself.
- He loves my parents Pug Zoe but he also likes to tease her and tell her no.
- We have started taking him to church more the past couple of months...but he still refuses to stay in his bible class...we are still working on that one.
- He is wearing 2T clothes...they are a little bit big but the others are too small. And he wears a size 6 wide shoe...but those are getting tight too! I think that we have hit a growth spurt.
- He has been a VERY HEALTHY kido...we are fighting an ear infection right now but it's only the 2nd one he has ever had.
- He loves motorcycles and tricycles...big ones, little ones, ones on TV and ones in books...he LOVES THEM.
- He LOVES trains and going over the tracks.
- He gives the best hugs and gives them quite often.
- He has an amazing laugh and smile.
- He is frustrated easily.
- He STILL eats play doh.
- He has a hard time sharing with his play mates...but we are working on that! He did a great job sharing at his birthday party on Tuesday!
Just a few more...- He can finally say Grandma...and I know two women who are very excited about that.
- He loves his bubble bath and wrapping up in his green frog towel...then we pretend that he is a froggy.
- He sleeps with 2 small blankies, stuffed bear, stuffed rabbit, stuffed frog and stuffed monkey...oh and I almost forgot the sippy cup of ice water...he asks for 5 ice cubes...mommy gives him 2!
- He has started saying please A LOT! It is so sweet and it makes it harder for mommy and daddy to say no.
